I think it has to do with freedom. Our mind has no limitations or guidelines hindering our imagination and naturally as people we can imagine and dream of the wildest things. Just as when we were children we could think the most extraordinary things, but as we become adults our minds are molded to think a specific way. I think that the reason we are able to come up with such “amazing thoughts” has to do with the fact that our brains, as students, face limitations on a daily basis so when we are faced with a blank page and endless possibilities we take it and run with it.
